Maserati Ghibli
The Maserati Ghibli is a true thoroughbred car: an engine
that generates 306 bhp and propels the cars from 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds,
surrounding the driver in an svelte, understated body with all the usual
Maserati creature comforts such as cream leather, alcantara and climate
control. Walnut veneer and the famous Maserati Clock completes the air
of understated opulence. But it is her outstanding condition that will
really sell her; she was owned for six years by the MD of a Maserati car
dealership and was looked after accordingly.
The power delivery on our Maserati
Ghibli is spectacular - below 4,000rpm it is tractable but above this,
the acceleration is stunning, forcing you back into your seat as the biturbos
kick in. It really is hard to believe that all this power comes from a
1,996 cc engine. Peak power is reached at 6,250 rpm, providing a 2,250rpm
powerband that makes you appreciate the six speed manual gearbox.

The 80,000Km major service has
just been carried out, including the replacement of the cam belt. There
is not a spot of rust on the bodywork; she has been extremely well cared
for, as the Full Service History shows. A hidden stereo radio cassette
player appears and disappears at the press of a button below the steering
column. The car is protected by a Clifford Category 2 Immobiliser.
The Maserati Biturbo engine
sounds glorious when revved. The engine is not only aurally stunning;
it is also a work of automotive art.
Massive performance, equipment
and luxury in perfect condition.
