Triumph TR3
Our Triumph TR3 underwent a £6,000 restoration that
started in 1986 and took 2 years. The bodywork and chassis were fully
restored or replaced, the interior was re-trimmed in black leather; in
general almost every part was restored. The car does look fantastic; we
exhibit the Triumph with mirrors on the floor so you can see how good
the underneath is! We have converted her to run on unleaded fuel.
The Triumph TR3 could be considered
to be the archetypal British Sports Car, small, light, 2 seater roadster,
entertaining handling and engineering simplicity.

The car comes with it's British
Motor Industry Heritage Certificate to authenticate it's history. This
certificate was issued to Sir John Rogers, the then Vice Chairman of the
RAC and Executive Chairman of the RAC Motor Sports Association, who owned
our Triumph TR3 between 1993 & 1998.
WNX 525 had covered only 33,551 miles
when we acquired her, and had averaged 206 miles per annum in the previous
12 years (supported by MOT certificates).
The roof is held in place by pop studs,
which do up and come undone very easily and quickly. The tonneau cover
and hood cover are present. The sidescreens are easily removed from the
doors for those warm summer days when this car is in her element. A rear
bench is bolted in place but can be easily removed if required.
We challenge you to drive her and
not smile - in fact we will knock £100 off the price if you can
achieve this feat during a test drive!
